Stageside achieves "near-broadcast quality" on a light budget by using Canon's award winning Mini DV CMOS camcorder series: the HV20, HV30, & HV40. The picture quality of our cameras rivals many "prosumer line" camcorders, but if you want us to use a more conventional pro camcorder system we may be able to rent additional equipment for special jobs. Let us know in advance if you have any special requirements. We have a huge collection of accessories, including: lights (cool & hot), tripods with fluid heads, mechanical pan/tilt heads, remote control turrets, fig rig and other handheld stabilizers, shotgun microphone, lapel microphone, portable audio recorders (ZOOM H2), studio condenser microphone, mic stand with boom arm, external lcd monitors, wireless VHF system, camera mounted lights, wideangle & telephoto lens adapters, a trackless dolly system, and even a (rarely used) 12' jib crane! A lot of this stuff doesn't get used at every shoot, but we try to keep it all handy in a pinch!
