ABOUT THE CONTEST
-We accept entries year\round
-A new winner is selected every quarter around mid-season
(Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall)
Each winner receives:
1) A full coverage (five camera) HD video shoot,
2) A professionally edited song-length web video, and
3) A copy of all raw footage from the show.
The goal of this program? We want to help promote local music and spotlight artists/bands who maybe aren't getting ALL the attention they deserve. Plus, its a lot of fun for us.

Bear in mind that the selection process is SUBJECTIVE and PRIVATE. We only announce the WINNING entry, and our judges reserve the right to choose whomever they wish.
That being said, ANYONE can apply and there are no official "requirements" for entry.
HOWEVER, we do have a few reccomended guidelines for the folks more likely to win:
STAGESIDE'S LOCAL ARTIST OF THE MOMENT...
-Should truly rock. Big points go to originality and craft.
-Should not be a previous client (paying customer) of Stageside Video Works. (we want to avoid bias)
-Should be local and either be based in Southern California or frequent the area.
- Should be performing in the local area (San Diego, Orange, Riverside, or L.A. county) in the relatively near
future (within 2-6 weeks of entering the contest)
- Should be "complete" and not be missing any core members necessary to perform.
-Should have their own original material. Most cover or "tribute" bands aren't likely to win - but exceptions are POSSIBLE. (No offense guys!)
