Videographer is contracted on a for-hire basis.
The videographer reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Only when an offer has been made by the videographer and accepted by the client in writing is there any requirement for either party to meet any obligation to the other.
Preliminary quotes issed by the videographer represent an estimate of the costs the client is expected to incur through the contracted services and is based upon information provided by the client.
Finished videos and all raw video become the property of the customer. The videographer must have written permission to use the video material for any other purpose (portfolios, self-promotion, etc.). We will always respect the wishes of the customer.
Due to the nature of the services, the client can expect the videographer to be flexible in making neccessary changes to the services required; however, changes made to services already performed may still be subject to the original costs plus any additional work requested by the client.
Normally, minor changes made that are within the scope of what was originally requested by the Client are not charged. Several elements of a video (font/color of titles, artist's contact info, etc.) may be included in the rough draft of a video, and the Client may request for something else to be used or the exclusion of such elements. The videographer will normally be open to feedback and in making changes to these minor choices made.
But again, if there is something TIME CONSUMING and SPECIFIC that the customer requires and was NOT VOICED UP FRONT additional charges may be applied. Any significant charges will usually be explained to the customer BEFORE the work is performed.
